I am a founding member of the Reform Party, and I was also the Secretary General of the party from 1996 to 1999. Besides that, I have had the honour of being elected a member of the 7th and 8th Riigikogu, and the opportunity to be the Minister of Finance and the Minister of the Environment in the Governments of Mart Laar and Siim Kallas.
I wish above all to contribute to the organisation of the tax system, as well as to striking a nice balance between the use of environment and environmental protection.
