The 14th Riigikogu passed 65 legal acts during its 6th session – the autumn session; 48 of these were Acts and 17 were resolutions.

The statistics of the 14th Riigikogu show that since it started work on 4 April 2019, it has passed a total of 331 legal acts: 232 Acts, 95 resolutions, 3 statements, and one communication.

The agenda today, at the last regular sitting of the autumn session, did not include any draft legal acts for legislative proceeding; instead, the Riigikogu received a visit from Santa Claus who commented on the activities of the MPs and handed out humorous presents.

Santa Claus also tested the MPs’ ability to cooperate by asking the members of different faction to put together a puzzle. The revealed image depicted a beehive with bees buzzing around it. Santa Claus reminded the MPs that if they want and keep trying and experimenting, they will be able to put the puzzle pieces together as a group.

Under the Riigikogu Rules of Procedure and Internal Rules Act, the next regular sitting of the Riigikogu will take place on 10 January next year.
